Students who carry out an discuss their thesis at the University of Insbruck must follow the Inssbruck University deadlines and the procedure described in the "Specific provisions", letter "B" of the Regulations.

Assignment of the thesis topic
Six months bevore the final exam, you have to deliver to the Students Support Service the "Application for the assignment of the thesis topic".
If you carry out the activity related to the final exam in a company, institution or organization different from the University of Trento and the University of Innsbruck, you must fill in and undersign the forms included in the "Guidelines for external activity related to the final exam" and send them via email to the Student support service before the beginning of the activity.
Registration for the final exam
Submit your degree application by the deadline in Esse3 - Degree award:
- fill in the Almalaurea questionnaire
- attach the Thesis frontispiece
- pay the contribution available in Esse3 - Registrar_s office - MyTasse within the deadline indicated in the payment slip.
Thesis upload
In order to complete your registration for the Final exam you must upload in Esse3 the thesis in standard PDF format within the expected deadline.
The title page must follow the attached Thesis cover template.
If the thesis file is larger than 60 MB, you cannot upload it to Esse3: you must share it in Google Drive with the account supportostudentimesiano@unitn.it
Starting from the graduation session of January 2022, despite the provisions of the graduation regulation, you don't have to deliver paper copies of the thesis to the University anymore.
Final exam and academic board
The date, time and room for the final exam of each candidate and the composition of the academic board are published on this page in the decree for the final examination.
Certificates, Diploma and Diploma Supplement
After graduation you can get various documents proving your title degree, depending on the purpose:
- a self-certification of degree or different types of degree certificate, available in the reserved area in Esse3 - Registrar's office - My Certificates
- the Diploma
- the Diploma Supplement.
