Summary
In order to be admitted to the two-year Master’s degree in Physics applicants are required to have a Bachelor degree and to match specific academic requirements.

Admission requirements for Italians, European citizens and non-European citizens living in Italy
In order to be admitted Italians, European citizens and non-European citizens living in Italy must have:
- a Bachelor's Degree
- 84 ECTS in mathematics and physics subjects (Italian classification: SSD MAT/* and SSD FIS/*), of which at least 24 ECTS in mathematics and 54 ECTS in physics
- an adequate personal preparation, including a B2 level English proficiency.
Verification of admission requirements
In order to enroll in the course, you must submit the online application form for verification of admission requirements. The outcome will be communicated by email.
You can submit the application even if you have not graduated yet as long as you have passed all the exams in your study plan.
Documents required for evaluation will be specified on the application form.
If you do not meet the educational requirements
If you do not meet all the educational requirements you can take the needed exams within the deadline for enrolment by registering to single classes for Master's Degree courses.
Once you have achieved all the educational requirements, write an email to the Student support service in order to proceed with the enrolment.
If you do not meet the language requirement
If you do not meet the language requirement, you can take an English proficiency test at the Language Centre (Centro Linguistico di Ateneo - CLA).
The written part will be held in-person at the Language Center, while the speaking part will be held online.

Once you have achieved the language requirement, write an email to the Student support service in order to proceed with the enrolment.
Interview
You can be request to take an admission interview in oder to verify your personal preparation.
The Student Support Service will put you in contact with the lecturer in charge via email, you will arrange with them when and how.
You do not have to take the interview when:
- you have at least 30 ECTS in mathematics subjects (Italian classification: SSD MAT/*) and 90 ECTS in physics subjects (Italian classification: SSD FIS/*)
and - your graduation grade higher than 95/110 (or equivalent).
How to enrol
When the Student Support confirms that you fulfill all admission requirements, fill in the enrolment request on Esse3.
Enrolment requests for the academic year 2024/2025 will open in July.
