Registration for the dissertation/final exam
In order to register for the dissertation or final exam, you have to fill in the Degree awarded application in your Esse3 web area, in the hand-side menu Degree award.
You will be asked to attach the Graduation session application form signed by your Supervisor.
Fill in all missing information and once it is complete press “Conferma” (confirm).

Upload and submission of the graduation thesis document
No later than the second deadline, you have to:
- submit a copy of the graduation thesis document tothe Supervisor, Cosupervisor and President of the academic board for the dissertation
- submit an abstract (max 5 pages including bibliography) to the President and the members of the academic board for the dissertation
- upload the pdf/a document of your graduation thesis in esse3
Payment of the graduation fee
A graduation fee of euro 72,00 has to be paid one week before the dissertation/final exam.
You will find the bank payment receipt (“MAV”) after you have successfully completed the above procedure in your Esse3 web area (hand-side menu: “Apply” - Segreteria > MyTasse.
Please note that no graduation fee is required for EMBS students.

Giving up the thesis dissertation/final exam
If you have to give up your final exam session, please mail to the Students Support Service of your Department (supportostudentiecogiursi@unitn.it) from your unitn.it mailbox, or drop there during the opening times to inform them.
When you register again for the thesis dissertation/final exam, you will be asked to pay a further fee of the amount of €56, if the session takes place within the same academic year or of €72 if it takes place in the following academic year(s).
