Master's degrees
The study plan is the full set of didactic activities (classes, laboratories, internships, etc.) needed to achieve the Master’s degree.
Each degree course foresees a certain number of exams - some are mandatory, others are of your choice: you have to fill in the study plan to choose them. In this way, you can take the exams related to those didactic activities. Examinations of didactic activities that are not present in the record book cannot be registered.
Before submitting the study plan, check the Didactic Offer (“Manifesto”) published on the page Rules and Regulations of the Master’s degree course in Mathematics.
The course offer may change from year to year, so always consult the Didactic Offer.
When to submit the study plan
There are two time frames for submitting or changing the study plan for the current academic year:
1st year students
- first term: from 1 October 2024 to 17 January 2025
- second term: from 10 February to 10 March 2025.
2nd year students
- first term: from 1 October 2024 to 8 November 2024
- second term: from 10 February to 10 March 2025.
How to submit the study plan
You have to fill in the Study plan form entering all the didactic activities, even those already passed, until you reach at least 120 CFU, then specify the changes.
Then attach it in PDF format to the online application Study plan changes - Master's Degree Course - Department of Mathematics a.y. 2024/2025 by the deadlines.
Check the Career - Record Book
To make sure that the requested changes to your study plan have been successfully made, please check your Esse3 personal area, section Career - Record Book and ensure that all the desired didactic activities are actually present.
The section Study plan - Career plan may not correspond with what is present in the section Career - Record Book, or not all the didactic activities in the Career - Record Book may have a “P” (“Didactic Activity linked to the plan”): do not worry, the important thing is that the section Career - Record Book is complete with the desired teaching activities.
