Request for the Dissertation Topic
You have to deliver to the Students Support Service (firstname.lastname@example.org) the Request for the Dissertation Topic (available in the Download box) at least 4 months before the graduation session.
Registration for the final exam
The online registration form is available in your Esse3 web area section Degree award.
You have to:
- do the Almalaurea questionnaire
- upload the Frontespiece and Declaration
A graduation fee of Euro 72,00 has to be paid one week before the final exam session.
You will find the bank payment receipt after you have successfully completed the above procedure in your Esse3 web area (hand-side menu: Administrative office Payment).
Upload and submission of the Thesis
In order to complete your application, within 15 days before the Graduation day, you must:
- submit two hard copy of your thesis to the Students Support Office
- upload on Esse3 your Thesis as PDF/A-1b
You must use the Thesis Cover Page available at the bottom of this webpage, both for the hard copy and the digital copy.

If the size of the digital copy of the Thesis is more than 60 MB, you must submit a CD-ROM to the Students Support office (the cover page of the CD is available in the Attachment section).
Thesis dissertation and final exam
The names of the members of the academic board and the time of the final exam session will be published in the Attachment below.
Until the end of February 2021 all dissertations will take place online: each candidate will receive detailed instructions by email.
Giving up the thesis dissertation/final exam
If you have to give up your final exam session, please mail to the Students Support Service (email@example.com) from your unitn.it mailbox, or drop there during the opening times to inform them.
When you register again for the thesis dissertation/final exam, you will be asked to pay a further fee of the amount of €56, if the session takes place within the same academic year or of €72 if it takes place in the following academic year(s).
