Courses and restrictions

You can enroll in single classes of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Please consider that for some courses there might be some restrictions (see the table below).

Enrolment in single classes lasts up to one academic year and allows you to sit exams scheduled in the academic year of enrolment. 
If you enrol to single classes for the academic year 2019/2020 you can do exams during the:

  • Winter session: January and February 2020
  • Summer session: June, July and September 2020
  • Winter session: January and February 2021
  • other exam session depending on each course

The enrolment lasts until 31/03/2021.

If you would like to take exams before the Winter session (January and February 2020) please refer to the Standard enrolment in single classes a.y. 2018/2019 (in Italian only).

You can find the list of all available courses in your Esse3 web area www.esse3.unitn.it (hand-side menu: “Lezioni” - “Attività didattiche”). In order to register in one or more classes, you have to select the academic year of enrollment and the Department offering the course you are interested in, considering some restrictions (see the table below).

  • Cultural heritage
  • Economics and Management
  • Philosophy
  • Physics
  • Business management
  • Law - Five-year degrees 
  • Interfaces and communications technologies
  • Modern languages
  • Mathematics
  • Science and techniques of cognitive psychology
  • Historical and philological studies
Enrollment to courses of the first year t is open  to 10 students only for each course.
Students, who have taken the admission test with a higher score than the minimum, will have priority.

Degrees in:

  • Sociology
  • International studies

Enrollment to courses of the first year is open to 10 students only for each course.
Students, who have taken the admission test with a higher score than the minimum, will have priority.

No restrictions are applied to courses of the 3rd year.

Degree in Biomolecular science and technologies

Due to the high number of students and to guarantee the safety of the Labs, single classes are not available for the a. y. 2019/2020.

Degree in Industrial engineering

1st year courses are not open to single classes enrollment, 2nd and 3rd year courses can accept up to 5 students, with no restriction on the number of activities.

Degree in Viticulture and Oenology If, after the August admission test, there will be available places for the 1st year courses, enrollment to single classes might be open for the following courses:
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • General biology and ecology
  • General and inorganic Chemistry

Only after having passed the first intermediate exam, the enrollment to single classes will be possible up to the maximum number of admitted students per year.
As regards the enrollment to single classes for courses of the 2nd and 3rd year (labs excluded), the Board of the Centre might increase the number of admitted students.

Five-year degree courses Constructing engineering/architecture L'iscrizione ai corsi singoli deve essere approvata dal Consiglio di area didattica o del Responsabile del corso di studio.

Degrees in:

  • Comparative, European and International Legal Studies - CEILS
  • Social work
The enrollment to single classes is not available.

Master's degrees in:

  • MEIS - European and International Studies
  • MISS - International Security Studies
  • MEC – Economics 
  • EMBS - European Master in Business Studies
  • MAIN - Master in Innovation Management
  • MIM - Master in International Management
  • MCS - Master in Cognitive Science
  • MHCI - Master in Human Computer Interaction
The enrollment to single classes has to be approved by the Director of the Master Degree Program or by the Director of the Department/School.

Master's degrees in:

  • Energy Engineering 

  • Environmental Meteorology

Enrollment is allowed only to first year courses/classes, up to the maximum number of admitted students per year, and has to be approved by the selection committee or by the Director of the Master Degree Program.
