Summary
The enrollment in Master's Degree in Agrifood Innovation Management is based on a public selection for Italian, European or non-European citizens living in Italy: you must have a bachelor’s degree and certain curricular requirements and apply for the selection call.
Requirements and call for application

Admission requirements
- Bachelor degree in
- L-25 Agricultural and forestry sciences and technologies (ex D.M. 270/04 or class 20 ex D.M. 509/99)
- L‐26 Food sciences and technologies (ex D.M. 270/04 or class 20 ex D.M. 509/99)
- or another equivalent bachelor degree obtained abroad
- or, if the Bachelor degree is different from the above listed classes, applicants are required to have at least 66 ECTS (credits in the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) in the following academic disciplines:
- at least 18 CFU in the following academic disciplines: AGR/01, AGR/02, AGR/03, AGR/04, AGR/05, AGR/06, AGR/14, AGR/15, AGR/17, AGR/18, AGR/19, AGR/20, VET/01, VET/02, VET/03, VET/04, VET/07, MED/49
- at least 18 CFU in the following academic disciplines: AGR/07, AGR/11, AGR/12, AGR/16, MED/07, MED/42, VET/05, VET/06, BIO/01, BIO/02, BIO/03, BIO/04, BIO/05, BIO/07, BIO/09, BIO/10, BIO/11, BIO/13, BIO/18, BIO/19
- at least 12 CFU in the following academic disciplines: MAT/01, MAT/02, MAT/03, MAT/04, MAT/05, MAT/06, MAT/08, MAT/09, INF/01, ING-INF/05, FIS/01, FIS/02, FIS/03, FIS/04, FIS/05, FIS/06, FIS/07, FIS/08, SECS-S/01, SECS-S/02, SECS-S/06
- at least 6 CFU in the following academic disciplines: CHIM/01, CHIM/02, CHIM/03, CHIM/04, CHIM/05, CHIM/06, CHIM/07, CHIM/10, CHIM/11, AGR/13, BIO/10
- at least 6 CFU in the following academic disciplines: AGR/08, AGR/09, AGR/10, ICAR/06, ICAR/15, ING-IND/09, ING-IND/10, ING-IND/11, ING-IND/22

- and have English language level B2 (Common European Framework of Reference)
- and have basic knowledge of the Italian language.

Application
Submit your online application by the deadline stated and following the indications provided the Admission call.
You can apply also in the following cases:
- you have not graduated yet
- you do not have all the admission requirements, but you can get them by enrolling in single classes at UniTrento or other universities
- you do not yet have the B2 English language requirement but you can prove it.

By the same deadline you have to pay a Fee of € 15,00 as indicated in the application confirmation email.
You must meet all the requirements by October 31, 2021.
Interview
The interview, in English, aims at ascertaining the personal skills and background of the student with respect to the Master’s learning objectives:
- it will take place online and in English
- if you are not a native Italian speaker, part of the interview will be hold in Italian.
The list of candidates admitted to the interview and the meeting date (approximately in early September) and time will be published on this page within three days before the interview.
The instructions to connect to the virtual room will be sent by email.
How to prove English B2
You can prove your B2 level English proficiency in one of the following ways:
- by submitting the language certificate for English language B2 to the Student Support Service. Certificates accepted as entry requirement by the University Language Center (CLA, “Centro Linguistico d’Ateneo”) are considered valid. Any certificates that do not meet these criteria will be evaluated by the Commission
- by taking the test at the University Language Center on one of the dates indicated in the table below.

Ranking and enrollment confirmation
The evaluation is carried out by allocating points (max. 100) in accordance with the criteria described in Article 4 of the Admission call.
The ranking list of admitted candidates will be published on this page after the end of the evaluation process.
If you pass the selection procedure, you have to confirm your acceptance of the place and pay an Enrollment confirmation fee of € 100.00 (one hundred Euro) within the deadline that will be communicated in the notification email.
This payment will not be reimbursed in any case.
If you don’t complete this step, you’ll be considered as having renounced your place.
If you want to renounce your place for whatever reason, you are required to notify the committee as soon as possible, by sending an email to supportostudentic3a@unitn.it.
How to enrol
In order to complete your enrolment, you will have to accomplish one of the following tasks, according to your situation:
- enrolment with tuition fees
- enrolment with scholarship or fee waiver
- enrolment with Disability exemption (disability certification higher than or equal to 66% or a handicap status recognition pursuant Law 104/1992, art.3 c.1).
Enrolment with tuition fees
In order to be regularly enrolled for academic year 2020/2021, you have to
- complete the enrolment application to UniTrento in your Esse3 private area (path: Login - Registrar's office - Enrolment) within the deadline stated by the admission call or the ranking
- pay the first installment of tuition fees within 7 days from enrollment or by the deadline indicated in the payment slip (for instructions see Tuition fees payments).
If you are eligible for tax reduction, you have to calculate your ISEE University value within the scheduled deadlines.
Enrolment with scholarship or fee waiver
If you meet the requirements for the Scholarship or fee waiver provided by "Bando 1 ISEE 2021/2022", we recommend you to complete your enrollment and registration with this order:
- apply for the Opera Universitaria scholarship and fee waiver starting from 19 July 2021 and by the call deadline
- complete the enrolment application to UniTrento in your Esse3 private area (path: Login - Registrar's office - Enrolment).
- pay the fee of Euros 16,00 in your Esse3 private area in order to be regularly enrolled at University of Trento.
If you see in the List of fees - Esse3 the first installment of fees payment receipt, don’t pay it and wait for the the 16.00 Euro receipt.
Enrolment with Disability Exemption
If you are entitled to exemption for Disability based on Law 104/1992, art.3 c.1, we recommend you to complete your enrollment and registration with this order:
- submit your Disability, SLDs and Special Needs Declaration, if you haven’t already submitted
- complete the enrolment application to UniTrento in your Esse3 private area (path: Login - Registrar's office - Enrolment).
- pay the fee of Euros 16,00 in order to be regularly enrolled at University of Trento. You’ll find the payment receipt in your Esse3 private area.
If you see in the List of fees - Esse3 the first installment of fees payment receipt, don’t pay it and wait for the the 16.00 Euro receipt.
