The Bachelor’s degree courses in Engineering and Science have a limited number of places: in order to enroll in these courses it is compulsory to pass the admission tests TOLC-I or English TOLC-I managed by CISIA (Consorzio Interuniversitario Sistemi Integrati per l’Accesso).

The selection is open to EU citizens and the categories indicated in the Call for admission.

NON EU citizens living outside Italy interested in these courses can consult the opportunities and the call for admission available at the webpage Academic offer in Italian.

To participate in the selection of the University of Trento you must register for the admission on the UniTrento website and apply to the call for admission by March 28 2022 at 12.00 (noon):

• fill in your personal data, if necessary
• choose “Application ("Iscriviti all'ammissione") and in the webpage “Call for admission” choose the type of TOLC and the application you want to apply to
  • TOLC-I Ranking Civil/ Environmental/ Industrial Engineering, to enrol to the Bachelor's degree courses in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Industrial Engineering
  • TOLC-I/English TOLC-I Ranking Computer Science/ Computer, Communications and Electronic Engineering to enrol to the Bachelor's degree courses in Computer Science and Computer, Communications and Electronic Engineering

You can apply to both type of TOLC tests and choose multiple courses of study by giving an order of preference.

If you want to apply for more than one application, go back to Call for Admissions and repeat the application.

Once the registration is submitted, you receive a confirmation email.

You must take the TOLC-E or English TOLC-E tests by March 25 in any of the two ways:

If you want to apply to the Bachelor’s degree in

• Civil Engineering
• Environmental Engineering
• Industrial Engineering

youmust take the TOLC-I.

If you want to apply to the Bachelor’s degree in

• Computer Science
• Computer, Communications and Electronic Engineering - Italian track
• Computer, Communications and Electronic Engineering - English track

you must take the TOLC-I or the Eglish TOLC-I.

You must take the TOLC in any of the two ways:​

• participate in one of the TOLC-I or English TOLC-I organized by UniTrento from 15 to 18 March or from 22 to 25 March 2022 as TOLC @HOME (online)
• participate in one of the TOLC-I or English TOLC-I tests organized by another university affiliated with CISIA that takes place by March 25, 2022

The rankings will be published on this website within the dates specified in the call.

If you are “admitted”, you must confirm your place and then complete the enrollment by the deadlines and according to the procedures specified in the rankings, otherwise you automatically withdraw.

You can confirm your place and enroll in one course of study only.

If you are admitted in the ranking of a second or third choice course, you must in any case confirm your place in this course by the deadline, to maintain your position in the ranking.

In case of available places in the first choice course, as a result of withdrawals, you will be assigned to this course according to the ranking.

In order to complete your enrolment, you will have to accomplish one of the following tasks, according to your situation:

• if you have to pay for tuition fees
• if you can apply for scholarship or fee waiver
• if you are entitled to Disability exemption.

Enrolment with tuition fees

In order to be regularly enrolled for academic year 2022/2023, you have to

• complete the enrolment application to UniTrento in your Esse3 private area (path: Login - Registrar's office - Enrolment) by the deadline stated in your ranking
• pay the first installment of tuition fees by September 30 2022 or, if your enrolment deadline is later, by the deadline indicated in the payment slip (for instructions see Tuition fees payments).

If you are eligible for tax reduction, please calculate the "ISEE università" or equivalent ISEE as soon as possible and in any case by 21st December 2022.

Enrolment with scholarship or fee waiver

If you meet the requirements (ISEE parameter and merit) to apply for scholarship, accomodation and tuition waiver 2022/2023, we recommend you to complete your enrollment and registration with this order:

• apply for the Opera Universitaria scholarship and fee waiver by the call deadlines provided in the call
• complete the enrolment application to UniTrento in your Esse3 private area (path: Login - Registrar's office - Enrolment).
• pay the fee of € 16,00 in your Esse3 private area in order to be regularly enrolled at University of Trento. 

If you see in the List of fees - Esse3 the first installment of fees payment receipt, don’t pay it and wait for the € 16,00 Euro payment slip.

Enrolment with Disability Exemption

If you are entitled to exemption for Disability based on Law 104/1992, art.3 c.1, we recommend you to complete your enrollment and registration with this order:

• submit your Disability, SLDs and Special Needs Declaration, if you haven’t already submitted
• complete the enrolment application to UniTrento in your Esse3 private area (path: Login - Registrar's office - Enrolment).
• pay the fee of € 16,00 in order to be regularly enrolled at University of Trento. You’ll find the payment receipt in your Esse3 private area.

If you see in the List of fees - Esse3 the first installment of fees payment receipt, don’t pay it and wait for the € 16,00 Euro payment slip.
